Are you looking to maximize your earnings through the Shopify Affiliate Program? Understanding the commission timeline is crucial for ensuring that you and your referrals meet the necessary milestones. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the steps involved in the process!

Step-by-Step Commission Timeline

Step 1: Free Trial Sign-Up

The journey begins with your referral signing up for a free trial. Currently, Shopify offers a free trial: Be sure to check the Shopify pricing page for the more information!

Step 2: $1 Paid Trial

After the free trial, your referral enters the $1 paid trial period, during which merchants can access their Shopify plan for just $1. Check our pricing page for current offers and more information.

Step 3: Full Price Plan Selection

When the paid trial concludes, your referral must select a full-price Shopify plan: Basic, Shopify, or Advanced. At this stage, your referral is considered eligible for commission.

Step 4: Locking Period

Once a full-price plan is selected, your referral enters a 21-day locking period. During this time, the Impact team reviews each referral to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for commission.

Step 5: Payment

After exiting the locking period, your referral is eligible for payment. Payments are processed one day after the locking period concludes and can be withdrawn via your Impact account. For detailed withdrawal instructions, review Impact's payment information.

Monitoring Your Referrals

To keep track of your referrals, log into your Impact account and navigate to Reports → Action Listing. You can filter your report by action types to see which step each referral is currently at in the commission timeline. For a comprehensive overview, consult Impact's Reporting guide.
